Caroline Reynolds's profile

Caroline Reynolds BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy. PGCert Management (Health & Social Care). Level 3 Qualifications: CBT and COPD Management. Safeguarding Adults & Children (Level 3). Core safety training up-to-date.

Strata-OT

I have spent 30 years as an OT across NHS inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, with 17 years managing an acute hospital OT service. I moved into independent practice to return to hands-on clinical work and support fellow OTs in their professional development.

Having had hearing loss since childhood, I have lived experience of disability, workplace support, and self-advocacy. As an NHS manager, I supported staff with health conditions within their employment, and I currently volunteer as a director for a registered charity. These experiences shape my view that therapy and supervision are a genuine partnership where the individual remains the expert on their own life.

Based in Hazlemere (HP15), I cover a 50-mile radius across Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire, and the outskirts of West London, providing community visits to improve client independence in self-care, productivity, and leisure.

My clinical focus includes general orthopaedic and surgical referrals alongside these specialist areas:

• Neurological and Long-Term Conditions (including Stroke, MS, Head Injury, Parkinson’s, dementia, chronic pain)

• Cardiac, Respiratory Care and Chronic Illness

• Oncology and Palliative Care

• Anxiety and Low Mood.

I use a variety of interventions such as: seating / postural management, energy conservation, joint protection, falls prevention, adaptations and equipment provision, anxiety management and lifestyle adaptation, informed by CBT principles within the framework of functional independence.

Professional Supervision

I provide professional remote supervision for clinicians within the public sector, those moving into private practice, and established independent practitioners nationwide.

Drawing on my extensive leadership background, my aim is to support your personal and service development using coaching and Socratic questioning techniques to encourage self-reflection.
